First Athlete Management is an athlete representation firm for high school players and their families. We manage recruiting strategy, film, exposure planning, NIL agreements, and academic eligibility, so athletes can focus on the season in front of them and parents are never guessing at the next step.
What WE Do.
Recruiting Strategy and Target Lists
We build a target list of programs matched to the athlete's ability, academic profile, and position needs by class year. Every school on the list comes with a clear explanation of why it fits, and the list is updated as the season and the athlete's development change the picture.
Exposure Planning and relationship building
Camps and circuit events are a significant expense, and only some of them put an athlete in front of the right coaching staffs. We plan a schedule around the programs on the target list and the periods when those staffs are able to attend, so families spend where it counts.
NIL Guidance and brand parnterships
High school NIL rules are set at the state and athletic association level and continue to change. We review every agreement before it is signed, explain the terms in plain language, and advise on how a partnership may affect future eligibility.
Academic Eligibility SUpport
Offer Review and SIgning Support
Core course requirements begin in ninth grade, and a scheduling mistake in an early semester can be difficult to correct later. We track NCAA Eligibility Center registration, course selection, and testing timelines alongside the athlete's school counselor.
Film Evaluation and Production
College coaches make quick decisions about film, and most reels are never watched to the end. We evaluate each athlete's game honestly and produce a highlight reel built around their position and the specific skills coaches are looking for at that level.
A verbal offer is not final until it is in writing. We review scholarship terms with the family, explain what is guaranteed and what renews annually, and prepare both the athlete and the parents for the questions worth asking before committing to a program.
COLLEGE and Coach Communication
Recruiting contact rules differ by division and are revised regularly. We manage outreach on the athlete's behalf, prepare them for calls and campus visits, and make sure the family understands what is being discussed at each stage of the conversation.
